From small Napa producer. Mostly Cab Sauv 50% and Merlot 36% with added Cab Franc & Petit Verdot, aged 22 months in 70% new French oak, deep Ruby, aromas of black fruits with floral spice notes. On the palate blackberry and blueberry fruit with good mouthfeel and balance with notes of cedar and vanilla, beginning to develop some leather and cacao character. Fine smooth tannins, medium+ finish. Tasting Sample.

Simply a lovely surprise, a well done Bordeaux blend, rich, elegant and delicious, lots of black fruits, plums, pencil shavings, chocolate, earthiness, full body, multi layered, well integrated tannins , long delicious finish. Well done ! My score 91, drink to 2022
