I’ve had some really good experiences with this wine, but this was not one of them. I think I decanted it too long - around 6 hours, and probably missed the sweet spot. It was still had plenty of acidity, but the aged overwhelmed the aromas and flavors.

Quite nice and balanced though remains a big, heavy wine! Happy to have some of lying down in my cellar as well. @Tim Bouchard
