Rheinhessen Pinot Noir Rosé

Little more body than a usual rose, but nice fruit and good acid. Pinot character comes through.

This rosé has a lovely rose petal pink shade in the glass. The nose offers red fruit, such as cherries and raspberries, along with citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit. The palate has some heft for a pink wine, and it drinks like a rosato. Acidity is fresh but not overpowering and the finish is lengthy and pleasant. For the money, it is a fine rosé.

A super cheapie, but how good is it? Light salmon pink, very good clarity. Some cherry with musty notes in the nose. Good acidity, red fruit flavors, strawberry with notes of cherry. Pretty good value here for a decent nearly dry Rosé.

Easy going. Light color, fresh fruit and great acid.

Clear pale pink color, dry and light bodied with high acidity. Clean low intensity nose with a tough of strawberry. Strawberry, citrus and a hint of melon on the palate. Very refreshing and crazy good value.

Cheap thrills. Maybe "thrills" is an over statement but refreshing and quaffable. Guessing it has 5-7g/L of RS. Would kill at a crawfish boil.

Lighter copper color. Peaches and cream nose. (Melons?). Flavors are simple. Not exciting at all.

Reunion park. JK. Lazy Sunday afternoon. Yummy wine with cheese.
