🇨🇱 Another Carmenere 🍇 from South America. This one is organic. Full body with flavours of citrus 🍊 and earth tones bringing a soft finish to the palate in terms of sweetness. I am having this one with pasta 🍝 as the tomato sauce is simmering. 14% ABV 🍷

Sick organic wine. It’s deep. Deep like a poem about a young Asian boy, who was raised on the streets of Detroit. While working every evening and weekend during high school, the boy studied the ancient martial arts, taught to him by the old janitor at the community centre down the street. Then came the day when the janitor was killed by an evil posse of clowns and with the fresh blood of his mentor streaming down his hands, the young boy swore vengeance. One by one, he stalked and made each of the clowns pay for their unnecessary act of violence. It was only when the last clown was vanquished that the boy realized killing clowns would not bring the old man back. Now the young Asian boy only had his memories of the old man to keep him going. Those memories would eventually fade, but the boy would someday pass the old man’s teachings on to another. The boy would find a young apprentice, much like himself. The new apprentice would be eager to learn the ways of the old man. This apprentice would eventually carry on the old man’s work, thus making the circle complete. The apprentice would aid the young Asian boy when the clowns would someday return, bringing a fury like none other on behalf of their falling comrades...
Good tannins on the wine too.
