Mount Richmond Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Vivid ruby. Smoky dark berry and floral pastille scents show impressive clarity, and cola and star anise nuances emerge as the wine opens up. Sweet, seamless and expansive on the palate, offering intense blackberry and cherry liqueur flavors underscored by a zesty mineral nuance. Tart cherry, bright and lively. Nicely dry finish.

2010 vint. Dark red fruit, very full bodied style of Pinot.

Rich(mond) round, full, fine.

Very dark in color, very jammy on the nose. This one is a big Pinot. Very lush. For a young wine it is amazing.

Better than I expected - really quite nice. Somewhere between a nice villages burgundy and a very good Beaujolais- has some spice and fresh fruit to go along with some good earth and bitter notes. Pretty seamless. Would not have guessed this is at almost 8 years.

Not much of a nose, but bold flavors from the start (almost like a Cabernet at times). Opens and rounds out nicely, becoming a very nice surprise.
