Oregon Syrah drinking beautifully! Savory with loads of violet, blackberry, and faint smoked meat. Not very peppery. It is my understanding that this producer is no longer around and unfortunately this was my last bottle. But we made it count paired with flank steak in a charred scallion sauce with sautéed broccoli.

Proof that Oregon does more in the world of red wine than just stellar Pinot Noir, this Syrah is smoky and delicious. Full bodied with dark fruit, toasty oak, and a hint of Tabasco. $32
