94 Block Estate Grown Canberra Syrah
This is very good. Restrained class. Pure, concentrated but not heavy. Plumb, brambles, and some spice on the nose. Quite rich and sweet on the front palate - plumb, black fruit, savoury spice. But then a sour peppery element kicks in which carries the pure fruit through to a long finish.

Mar 1st, 2019Very interesting wine. Pale translucent ruby, med body and extremely aromatic. You would swear this was a pinot on every count except the telltale peppery aftertaste. First sip was sharp, angular, and not great. But the perfumed bouquet was enticing. After a few hours, it softened and became really perfumed, spicy, and interesting. No more than med bodied. Would love to try this once everything had settled down. Great potential. 8.9++
