Really distinctive and balanced. Bill Easton’s wines have really won me over as I’ve tasted through several over the last two weeks

9’year old, Old Vine Zin, needs time to open up but a brilliant wine still has a decade ton go for sure but a nice tannin and fruit but still tight.

Possibly the best zin I've ever had... Cherries and white pepper, beautifully balanced with a delicate structure and moderate acidity, glides right over the tongue

One of the great Zins with restrained plum fruit and excellent structure.

The aromas jump from the glass, a breath of blossom-filled springtime. In the mouth it's sleek and concentrated, elegant and restrained. Dark berries and plums, backed up with refreshing acid. Spicy notes on the long finish. So damn juicy, but not a bit jammy. This is a special Zinfandel. 14.5% abv.

Closing out some sample bottles with a trade buddy. Open about 3 days when I got to taste. Not really in my zone, smelled more like Syrah, would like to try fresh.

Another winner from Bill Easton that refuses to show its age. Various components still jostling to find just the right place to sit down. Whiffs of freshly cut oak hover above concentrated red and black fruit aromas and flavors. Beautiful, refreshing mouthfeel with impressive texture and mouthwatering acid. The 14.5% abv is nearly undetectable. This wine, at 11 years, gives the impression of just getting started. Elegant, balanced, concentrated. I have to think that there are a lot of zin producers out there who would love to make wines like this.

Fruity with blackberry, plum, cherry, vanilla and oak on the nose and palate. Bold with medium acidity and tannin. High alcohol, which is evident on the palate. Long blackberry finish.

I really liked this. Red fruit-forward wine and a higher alcohol content that I’m used to drinking typically, but it was very well balanced with a bit of acidity.
