The ‘Lewis Vineyard’ Syrah by Dunham Cellars was aged in French oak puncheons prior to bottling. This outstanding wine utilized Phelps clone Syrah which was planted in the late 1990s. This shows a wonderful purity of fruit on the palate, with black fruits being dominant, alongside brilliant chocolate and earthy undertones Delicious now, this will cellar well for a decade or more.
