Excellent. 100% Baga, a grape I’ve not had before. Notes of Spanish character, and tannic like Nebbiolo, but distinctive. Very red fruit forward and acidic, yet nicely aged and herbal. Peppery, savory finish. Great pairing with top sirloin steak (London broil) and cherry salsa. Recipe from Kwame Onwuachi.

Really rich and full bodied red with both fruit and earthiness. Reminded me of both a northern Rhône Syrah and a Cahors Malbec. Really great and the definitely ready to drink after a decade in the bottle.
