Star bright gold. Inviting nose of yellow apple and wet stone. Medium palate echoes the nose adding clover honey and a different type of stone. Mouthwatering medium plus acidity adds a bit of a tingle on the tongue. Lengthy finish continues the palate accentuating the honeyed aspect and reddening the apple. Excellent German Riesling for most foods, spicy dishes in particular. Drink now through 2032.

Star bright green gold. Bright yellow apple, honeysuckle, and flint on the inviting nose and medium palate. Firm acidity felt immediately on the lips and through to the medium finish. Near perfect example of a classic VDP Riesling from an overall high-rated vintage. Pair with all but the fishiest of dishes now, sip on it when the weather warms, or hang on to it until 2027 or so.

Expressive nose of honey, apricot and kesorene. Fine acidity matching the Spätlese sweetness, a beauty.

Surprisingly medium lemon yellow color where a pale greenish lemon would be the norm. Rich and intense nose of white flowers, Apple, lime and a bit of honeyed peach and petrol in the background. More off-dry than medium sweet in perception thanks to the vibrant acidity. This is a lovely example of maturing Mosel riesling

Pear, honey, lemon curd, hay and hints of petrol and dried apricot. Plentiful residual sugar balanced with understated acidity.

Ripe and primary in style. Rich pastry oozing with apple, peach, and apricot. Mineral notes developing with air, but not so much in texture. Perhaps lacking tension, but otherwise seamless and great length of finish.

Seeing a lot of bottle development. Botrytis in this vintage? Green apple is screaming!

Slate, petrol and limey pears. Late picked and off dry with a racy acidity balancing it. Paired with thai, because I wanted spicy and sweet.
