Excellent stuff here! There's an impressive breadth of flavour sitting on scintillating acidity and supple texture. The warm smell of baked cinammon rolls and biscuits bombards you as the bottle is popped open. The nose is deep in the glass, offering pure white florals, stone fruits, citrus, toasted almonds, and an array of spicy baked goods. The palate is intense and zesty, encased in a rich creamy structure. Finishes long, chalky, with light aldehydic notes. The tug-and-pull between lees, oxidation, concentrated fruit, and searing acidity makes for a very contemplative Champagne. Thanks for the gift, T & H 🙏
