Delicious now - this is lighter than some vintage Dow, but it is very well balanced with medium sweetness, fine acidity and juicy blackberry, black cherry, cassis and bramble fruit. Leather, licorice, candied cherry and dried plums are already appearing. The wine has a good balance of acidity and fruit flavor and never seems hot on the long finish. Lovely for enjoying now.

Deep Ruby with pronounced aromas of berry fruits, spice and floral notes. On the palate plum, licorice and blackberry flavors, well balanced with lively acidity, full-bodied, big and well structured. Long finish, smooth tannins ending with cacao and rich sweet fruit tones.

Annual guys WTF Christmas party with spouses. Lots of great wine. I’ll post my highlights with pics I got.
A rich and decadent night cap to a wonderful evening. Raisins, dark chocolate dipped blueberries and blackberries, fig, and cassis coat the glass. Molasses like texture on the palate with licorice, oven baked blackberry pie, baking spices and a touch of heat toward the finish.

Plum, licorice, violet and blackberry. From a classic Vintage - I would have liked just a bit more acidity but a lovely Port in any case. Still needs plenty of aeration after opening and decanting as it is already throwing a sediment. Medium sweet and very long finish. Tasted from half bottle

Terrific port drinking at a beautiful place now. Deep fruit and endless finish. Wish I had more.

Perfect nightcap for our anniversary weekend. Deep ruby red with high intensity and this completely coats the glass. Rich and potent nose with notes of dark chocolate, figs, dark spices and black fruits. Medium plus bodied with a strong attack and finish coated in molasses, figs, black raspberry syrup and tons of black fruits. Super rich, sweet and soft mid-palate. Super long and never-ending finish. Eager to see what happens before the bottle is finished, hopefully the mid palate beefs up a bit. Drink till 2031.

Still grapey and youthful, with spirits evident, even after 9 hour decant, but wonderful fruit that follows the Dow style towards moderate, rather than ebullient, sweetness, but super excellent with great complexity, needs 15-25 more years in the cellar.
