This is a drinkable Malbec from Mendoza. Simple, spicy and not fully balanced. Not very smooth, a little harsh actually.

Purple in color with medium intensity and a reddish rim.

Fruity nose of cherries, strawberries, blueberries, oak, earth, spices, leather, smoke, chocolates, barnyard, vegetables, red candy and peppercorn.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry and tart on the palate with plums, sour strawberries, licorice, raspberries, oak, vanilla, red candy, earth, leather, vegetables, tobacco and peppercorn.

Medium finish with soft tannins and tart raspberries.

This Malbec is a drinkable red wine from Mendoza. Unbalanced and simple, with a tangy finish. Better with food than just by itself.

Still tight and would need a couple of years in the bottle.
Better after 2 hours of airtime.

I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
