A touch too advanced but still a solid bottle.

Classic roulot crisp and creamy at the same time - has many years left in bottle

Much better than my last bottle. Full of energy! Ripe stone fruit, bursts of citrus, white floral. Delicious!

This bottle showing more advanced than expected. Still nice elements, but too nutty/waxy for an 08.

This is the third 2008 lieu dit I have tasted recently and so different than the others.
Nose displays a decent touch of reduction with lemon, lemon peel and tangerine fruit aromas wrapped in a pile of warm dry stones. Palate is racy and quit youthful with lots of citrus fruit and a touch of hazelnut with piercing mineral content. Finishes just a touch lean with the mineral component at the fore. I am not sure how this develops as it did not expand or change much over 2 hours in a decanter.

I can't imagine a Meursault much better than this. Beautiful fruit, high acids, minerals and citrus.
