Light to medium gold. Fruity but slightly oxidative nose. Notes of pineapple, earth and a little baked apple. Flabby in the mouth but with air it firms up a bit. Hot. Very California like. Consistent with prior 2006 notes. Improved later in the evening.

Nice straw and yellow gold color. Good weight in the glass. Sweet perfume in the nose with notes of apricot, white flower, white crushed stone and marzipan. In the mouth it's rich with a glycerol coating on top of decent acidity. Great finish. Nice showing for a vintage I'm not enamored with.

Light gold. Slightly heavier and deeper color than the D&S (Coche) Meursault. Tropical nose of apricot, sweet ripe fruit and vanilla. In the mouth its rich and glycerol with more weight. A little heat too. Longer finish. Side by side I like the Coche more.

This is a touch underwhelming. The nose is ripe edging towards exotic with peach, tangerine and over ripe pear. There is a sheen of creamy wood spice and a hint of ripe cheese. The palate is ripe, round and lacking in focus. Limited mineral notes to the ripe pear, pineapple and red apple fruit.

Best bottle yet as a few have been a bit flabby. This was singing with bright honey and citrus peel tones along with a hint of almond and flowers. Quite rich, almost fat on the palate with red apple, lemon curd and ripe pear fruit. The finish is crisp with a nutty, citrus finish.
