Restrained and cool on the nose with brooding lean fruit. Similar on the palate with blueberry, underbrushand a whiff of licorice

Aromatically delightful, but a little less elegant on the palate. Still a good drink

Dark fruits, plum, earth with savory spice & forest floor.

Drink up.

‘87 after sometime in the decanter opened up with peppery notes on the nose and mellowed out to a great finesse and silky flavors of Pinot that lasted to the last drop. One of better burgs I’ve ever had.

Seems highly extracted a little to big for me but obviously great stuff. Dark cherry 🍒 red 🍎 apples touch elderberry - a profound wine from a top producer.

Dried cherry, meaty, iron, earth, baking spices, vitamin and tomato leaf on the backend. Fully mature and drinking beautifully.

Beautiful red burgundy at Shrangrila hotel ballroom in the Shard. Wine and view were exceptional, food meh.
