Beaune Coucherias 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Still very vibrant, tight and young. Fine and seamless. Lovely acid tannin tension. Wish I had more to enjoy over the next five plus years.

Wow! Spectacular!

Savory, meaty, spicecake, damp forest floor, perfume, kirsch, currants. Very focused with a generous texture thats delicate, concentrated, and juicy. Persistent tannins that are light and elegant. Lots of freshness. Vines planted in 1964

First red. Kinda a blackcurrant. Not too good even despite my poor taste buds.

cranberry, pepper, nice acidity, smells of woody and cloves

It’s sweet but kind of tastes like a tree. Burgundy?

Taste of black cherry and hints of oak flavors, higher acidity

Interesting wine. Translucent deep ruby. Powerful spicy nose with dark fruit and old library book. Has the structure to support alot of fruit, but somehow the mid-palate is missing fruit density. Would love to try a different/riper? vintage of this wine as the terroir has potential.

Simply outstanding. Subtle fruit with earthy smell.
