Cuvée La Côte Ronde Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend

Last bottle and still delicious. Dark red fruit, cherry and chocolate and coffee grounds. Still vibrant but plenty ready.

Hope this is not my last bottle. Showed more like a Rayas than a typical CDP. Dark plum and cherry fruit, pork fat, forrest dirt.

Delicious.

What is good enough for the Pope works for me.

Favorite offering from Autard. Drinking in its prime now.

Maria dinner 5/30/21 unlike the ‘03 CdP this ‘98 wine is still rigorous and firm. Nice mature notes of dark fruits and fall leaves and lively palate with long finish.

Leather and barnyard. Lots of sediment - probably a bad choice for the coravin but oh well
