Aromas of pear and nectarines, grillé, roasted almonds, hay, hints of honey and beeswax
On the palate is a bit warm, but quite complex, perhaps not extremely fresh
Almondy and mineral after taste that again finishes a bit warm
In good shape, but it definitely looks like it comes from a hot vintage
At peak..perhaps i would have enjoyed it better few years ago too

What complexity here, lent in part by the strong herbal/floral character on the nose. Unctuous, palate coating, one would be hardpressed to identify this as a garden variety Sancerre except for the grassy note on the finish. This is the 2009.
