2015 was too soon to drink, but someone had opened it and here we are. Very very oaky but promising. I can’t really rate it properly: right now 8.0, maybe in a few years can be 9.0 or better. Food is a must.

I know we opened this too soon, but we still really enjoyed it. I’m sure it’d be much better in 5 or 6 years when the oak has relaxed a bit more. Otherwise, great.

Probably the best Mercurey I've ever tasted. Perfect with roasted duck at Gabrielle's in New Orleans. An outstanding food wine.
