Vintage shined through with big ripe fruit. The tannins were a bit edgy and green. Lacked acidity taking away from texture and length.

Not your everyday wine! Quite closed at first but then opened nicely on a nose of old bark, earth, moss.

18-. 2003. Deep colour, rich and young nose. Excellent balance. Tannins gone but should decant at least an hour ahead. Didn’t really blossom until the end.
