Compelling af. Botrytized notes and mineral character abound. Finishes dry. 👌🏼

Sexy & cerebral. Wild with botrytis inflection. Excellent to taste at such maturity.

These cru's from Deiss push my limits at times for sweetness, But they're truly unique & beautiful wines.

Gordons tasting Deiss 6/6/17. $45. Number seven. Prominent Sherry oxidative notes on nose. Bit darker golden color. Yet sweetness and floral on palate but with biting acidic finish. Rather conflicted character. Warn and humid and get noble rot. Ah so that's the sweetness. Mix of everything.

Pineapple, apricot, botrytis and honey. Perfect balance of RS and athletic acidity. Exactly how a VT should behave. Amazing with, salty, fatty cheeses.
