Lucky! Pineau D'Aunis

Super light, tart cherry, black pepper

When you want to get into a Fall red and not wanna jump head first into a Chinon, go p d'a. This was slamming on that backyard grilling in LA for Halloween tip.

Tart, peppered. Still fresh, but a bit warm. Red.

Lot HA-04 - smells are unusual, something burnt, inward, rubber, reductive? in very pleasant way, lovely velvet texture, good acid, dark raspberries and earth, slight suggestion of lambic but nothing crazyfunk, solid on own and with braised beef tongue and asparagus

Lovely, a bit denser than other Pineau d’Aunis’ I’ve tried.

A much denser and chewy pineau then previous vintages. Hefty. Not the usual light and soify wine I’ve had by them. 2016

Not for me and funky for sure

This is just absolutely lovely 100% Pineau d'Anise and winemaker Nathalie Gaubicher gives it depth that defies its prettiness, w/amazing aromas as an every-sip bonus. Lucky indeed.

It's alive!! Another amazing Pineau d'Aunis! I do feel Lucky to be drinking it! Raspberry, burnt orange, roses, oh my!
