Awesome nose. Big cherry fruit. Like a cherry lipstick. So so aromatic. That 2015 sunshine is on display. Loads of spice and wet earth. Gorgeous. Palate is juicy and full of tiny berry fruit enveloped by wet leaves, minerals and earth. Very juicy and terrific balance. Fresh and fruity like the best 15’s are. Has guts to age 10-12 years. Superb.

A 1er Cru that is a sleeper but really rocks. Big cherry nose. Licorice and such dazzling bright cherry fruit. Mid season and ripe. Raspberry. So alluring and precise. Palate is elegant and sweet with terrific freshness and purity. Lovely sweet fruit but buffered by terrific minerality and spice. Really terrific 15.

Needs an hour to open up and for the faint hint of wood to integrate. Then wow. Super juicy dark fruits with a lovely strain of licorice. An intense wine (see 2015) for a burgundy. Almost a change of pace wine it’s so intense for a burg. Hints of violet internal aromatics. Finish is sparkly almost tart and lip coating. Loooong finish. If this wine evolves to be as good on the palate as it is on the finish it will be exceptional. Almost cornaslike this year. This producer is a double threat (red and white). It’s a producer to watch. Bought from Fass Selections.
