Although it might be past its prime this Grenache has aged wonderfully. Aromas of dried strawberries with lavender honey and just a titch of dried leaves lead into a more juicy pallate reminiscent of raspberry sauce. Seemed a fitting pairing for viewing the Downton Abbey finale. ($16) [4/26/17]

Light up front but with some body and finish. Good with chicken and fall spices. Good with light dinner or cheese course

Fresh and rich, without being over-extracted, deep nose. Plums, forest berries, smoked meat and mocha notes, sprinkled with gravel. Finishes soft, but with surprising persistency. Can't remember a better QPR for a long time. Vintage 2012.

Interesting. It has a light beginning but finishes with a strong robust flavor burst.

Juicy raspberry and blackberry with medium tannins and mid acidity easy to like meat aromas after decanting.
