Fresh and vibrant. Quite generous for the vintage, but with a firm backbone still. Red fruit dominated nose, with some violet and undergrowth tones. Palate's all about that plump fruit, with soy sauce, cloves, earth. It's dense with fine tannins and bright acidity. There's a clear Chambolle elegance here, but I would have loved to have tasted more mineral notes.
