Appearance is somewhat brickish and cloudy. Has thrown off some sediment. Nose is a bit reserved, with some notes of lavender, menthol and hoisin. Took a little time to settle down and open up but once it did it was a very nice, classic CDP. It won’t improve from here but showing well - drink up over next 2-3 years if you have any.

Jan 12th, 2020Surprised it's still going strong. White pepper, dried meat and red licorice on the palate. Tannins still present but have become integrated and sweet.
