Like the Pinot noir, I felt this was lean on the fruit and a bit heavy on the oak. Not California liquid oak, but still detracted from the wine. Of course my brother will just interpret this as part of my anti- oak crusade.

Dried stone fruit and apricot. Toasty. Mascopone. Ripe, peach and pear. Pretty fruit character which drives the wine. Soft mouthfeel. Disappears quickly.

As someone who doesn’t like white wine that well, this Chardonnay was quite nice!
