Much stronger nose on this freshly-opened bottle than the Cornas, again because I believe the Cornas had been open a while. Mediterranean olive tapenade, raspberry fruit tinged with flavors of the sea, and a grittiness and pepperiness over the tongue finishing with dried violets. Fantastic.
