A little metallic at first, then a touch musky, on the nose. The scent really seems to come in distinct phases, especially as it warms up. Golden pear and touches of sour apple on the palate. Lovely, lean fruit flavors that seem to do equally well with and without fruit. Could slay as a book club wine.
