Oct 3rd, 2020Nose has bruised, oxidized then baked yellow apple, wilted daffodil, light honey, dried lemon peel and light, wet minerals.
Palate has slightly oxidized yellow apple, a squeeze of fresh lemon, sour wood notes and a little bit of dry limestone on the medium finish.
Not a wine for all palates, but we find this style enjoyable, in moderation.
After a few hours of airing, the palate is picking up a pleasant hint of sweetness on the finish.
