The nose is made of raisins, fresh sweet grape juice and honey. The palate is full on sweet. There is a strong acid drive to balance the sweetness though which gives some structure. Raisins and fresh grapes all along. A nice but short finish which fades away quite quicly with almost a fuzzy mouthfeel in the end. This is actually better than the star of the area (Tariquet premieres grives)

Bought it strictly for the charcuterie last week and it was a nice match. Off-dry, fruity, some pear and golden apple notes with acidity on the back end. $13-ish @ Spec’s.
