Star bright straw gold. Dried quince and white pepper on the nose. Echoed on the palate with some rubber balloon and a hint of cement mid-palate and on the finish. Smoother mouthfeel than expected (possibly due to my expectations set by a lack of significant experience with Chablis). Surprisingly only medium plus acidity (ditto? Or is that age?). Still a great foil for sushi, though raw shellfish might argue with a bit.
