Killer wine. I loved this. Macon Gamay grown on limestone if I'm not mistaken. Fresh red fruit on the nose and nervy palette with clean vibrant red fruit -cherries, cranberry, etc. 14€.

Interesting gamay from Macon. Ripe fruit in the front more gamay structure in the back.

A pedantic pallet of lightly spiced stewed plums and cranberry preceded by a wonderfully complex nose of prune, figs, coffee, and banana. Light tannin. Medium body. Wished for a more complex pallet. Worth a whirl when the opportunity arises.

Don't be fooled by the Burgundy appellation of Macon. The price to quality ratio is OUTSTANDING!! This Gamay tastes like a Pinot Noir. Wonderful terroir. Organic practices. Very little sulfur. Only needed a 15 minute decant. Thanks to SommSelect for this selection.
