I think this is a great representation of cab franc. I decided to decant. First impressions, I was surprised to pick up more cedar and tobacco on the nose. Good acidity. Left it alone for a couple hours, and the wine really opened up. More of the characteristic vegetal and green pepper on the nose. Lively acidity a little heat on the finish.

bright raspberry, cranberry, subtle anise, just barely ripe blackberry, thyme, taragon, and almost a skillet okra quality. pretty little cab franc...i could see falling in love with this in a few years, but it's a little too mrs. robinson meets benjamin braddock right now
