On the palate flavors of tart fresh raspberry and cherry, licorice and anise and mineral notes. Chalky tannins, vivid acidity, long finish ending with smoky mineral fruit. Nice!

Lots of variation over the last several vintages. The ‘17 is sturdy and crunchy with gripping red fruit and very food friendly acidity. Pair with filet mignon or aged gouda.

Feb 23rd, 2020Much softer and lighter than the ‘15 but with excellent, subdued energy. Bright, round red fruits with excellent length and minerality. Delicious and all too easy to drink.

Alain Graillot's kids' domaine. Very bright and racy, lean and focused. Red fruited with a tense mineral backbone. Just a tad hollow - needs food to show its' stuff, nonetheless engaging with a playful personality. Value is just ok, one can do better price-wise but no complaints really.

Fairly rich for a Fleurie but it’s a 2015 so makes sense. High yum factor.

Dec 26th, 2018Young. Intense structure. Crunchy with crushed, dark fruit flavors and stones/granite. Partial carbonic with tannic grip. Age worthy. Would confuse this with Grenache or Syrah.
Pairs with Wilco.
