grenache & nieulleccio (Sangiovese clone) blend from Corsica, K. Lynch pick, light but seemed to get bigger, stronger as it opened up, rustic, on dry side but good fruit, unusual, intriguing perfumed nose, improved with 1/2 to 3/4 hr aeration, settled down and gained complexity, probably needs a few more yrs

Grenache is supplemented by indigenous grape variety that adds a lot of power and structure to the lighter Grenache. Feels like a bigger wine than 13.5% ABV. More dark and fuller bodied than typical Grenache.
