Stunning, I hope someone continues to use this grape and make a sparkling. This is one of the top wines I had in 2022

Salty for days. It’s an interesting style but not a keeper for me. At least we know how to pronounce Gringet now, thanks to @Jason Wilson Just finished your book and loved it πŸ‘πŸ‘

Tastes like ripe Bosc pears in front of a curtain of chalky minerality. Love it.

I was very pleased to find this bottle in a restaurant in Milan, as it is a rather uncommon wine.
From the French Alps a classic method, sparkling wine made with Gringet grapes. Tasted in February 2015.
I always like the mineral notes in this wine, as well as the freshness.
Citrus an floral too. Great for aperitivo, as it really stimulates your taste buds!

Key lime, stinky cheese rind, and a mineral core unite this simple, but elegant wine together nicely.
