Pretty dark. (& pretty). Smells nice. Violet candies and plum compote. Flavors are ripe. Hints of fig and something with nutmeg and such in it. Maybe figgy puddings? Plenty of berries too. It’s not austere and complex with that sage and cypress woodsy zing that some Rhône has. But it’s great tasting red for a good price. Hits the right notes and hits the spot.

I love this! I was only going to have ONE glass, but you can probably guess how this story ends...

Very happy, nice dry wine with dark stone fruit on tongue.

A real delight and quintessential Cote du Rhône. Perhaps the best bargain I’ve ever found. Get your GSM on with this beauty.

Grape jelly, red apple, some dried fruit, little spice— not earthy at all. Good but I wouldn’t have IDed this as a CDR blind... new world-ish.

Really nice inexpensive cotes du Rhône! A little jammy and slightly spicy. Overall very nice. Don’t cellar this, drink it with some good spicy food.

Really good for a cote du rhone. Brambly red and blue fruit with hints of vanilla. Good stuff.

Peppery without being overly sharp. Definitely tastes young - not very complex. Excellent.
