Glorious light gold in the glass…ripe pear, melon, peach notes on the nose. But this wine is huge, powerful, a bruiser in the best sense of the word. Easily the biggest, baddest Albariño I’ve tasted.. concentrated, complex, almost tannic. Not a balance issue, but a statement of power and intensity. Dry, but immense pure fruit exuberance. Able to hold its own against spicy North Indian take-out.—Lamb, chicken, and chickpea masala. Definitely not your $20 Albariño, and worth every penny.
