A blend of 60% Syrah & 40% Grenache with rich berry fruit and floral bouquet. On the palate sweet plum and red berry fruit flavors with some oak and licorice notes. Soft fine tannins, medium length ending with fruit in the finish. Tried twice, drink now, no further aging benefit.

The Saint-Esprit 2020 Côtes-du-Rhône Delas offers a commendable representation of the region. On the nose, it presents a medley of red and black fruit, accompanied by subtle hints of black pepper and a touch of dried herbs. The palate showcases a balanced interplay between its fruit-forward character and a well-integrated acidity. Medium-bodied, it carries a structured frame of fine-grained tannins, providing a pleasant texture. While the wine exhibits a satisfactory length on the finish, there’s a slight yearning for more complexity and depth. Overall, the Saint-Esprit 2020 is an enjoyable, approachable Côtes-du-Rhône, though it doesn’t quite reach the heights of exceptional.

Dark fruit, a bit brooding, silky with a backbone.

Classic rose. Fresh strawberry and raspberry on the nose. Dry lemony finish. Hint of bitter minerality.

Red fruit and hints of vanilla on the nose. Nice notes black cherry, plum and soft white pepper. Medium-to-light tannins. Solid wine as it opens up, especially at this price.

Super easy, drinkable wine. Has some fruity elements and a huge honey note, but isn’t exactly sweet. Would buy again.
