From the cooler Northern zones of the Monterey Appellation (similar to and near the Santa Lucia Highlands). This is how Pinot Noir should taste. Fruity and oaky, not too peppery, not too clear or dark, and never smug. Great for everyday and nearly every meal. I buy it by the case. Sure there may be more expensive bottles, but why? when you could drink this everyday.
