Novel experience: oxidized to the point of faint tawny color, and completely unrecognizable as Chardonnay. Sweet without being syrupy, and with nice complexity on the finish. Paired well with good old-fashioned apple pie, home-made by Lauren. Will buy again as a lighter alternative to ruby port.
