Big fruity nose consisting of pomegranates, ripe cherries, and plums. Complimented with oak and a touch of dark chocolate. This is a big Napa Cab but certainly not out of control like so many others. Showing enough restraint and class, this is a well constructed and balanced Cabernet. High, sharp acidity provides a kick, while the alcohol blows off and it becomes a clean, focused pour. A really fun palate with all that red fruit up front and mild oak, vanilla, dried spices, and smoke assisting.
