Vibrant acidity. Great fruit. Another taster described it more as ‘orange marmalade’ than red fruit. I think he was right on. Nice and probably at a plateau for at least another decade.

Nose is beautiful...roses, lily, a touch of menthol, with dark red berry (plum skin), coffee. Palate is equally nice...similar notes with a cinnamon finish, cherry Ludens cough drops and red liquorish. Interesting stuff for such an old wine. It’s lighter, but in a good way.
