Apr 27th, 2022I’ve been jonesing for a super Cabernet Franc and after reading @Jeff Orlowski ‘s note, I decided on this one from Napa. 60%CF, 34 % Merlot and 6% Malbec. This is a plush and well-crafted wine. Opaque top-to-bottom in the glass and a lovely nose of deep, dark fruit together with some spice as you would expect from CF. Nicely extracted fruit that comes together and lingers on with medium acidity and serious yet integrated tannins. Consumed over three days and it was still singing on day 3. Cheers!

Dark fruit aromas, blackberries, cherries, and hint of cigar box. Super smooth mouthfeel full of berries, tea, and cassis. Medium drying tannins and long satisfying finish. Love it.
