Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Dark ruby in color with a wide purplish/ brick rim.

Very nice nose of blueberries, violets, cherries, licorice, wood, cloves, spices, light vegetables, earth, graphite and black pepper.

Medium bodied, soft and elegant, with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, leather, cherries, strawberries, currants, river rocks, licorice, light oak, spices, light herbs, earth and peppercorn.

Medium plus in finish with soft, elegant tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a nice surprise. A very enjoyable Italian Barbera. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself. Showing nice complexity and an elegant mouthfeel.

This 5 year old, made from 100% Barbera grapes, is drinking very nicely now. Needs an hour to open up properly and balance out.

A great food wine too. I paired it with a cheese plate, fried chicken wings and good company. Thank you Francesco and Paola for sharing.

Aged for 12 months in Oak barrels and then one year in the bottle.

14% alcohol by volume.

Past it's prime - jammy and overripe - without food wouldn't be enjoyable
