Gravel, raisin, coffee, and slight barnyard nose. Smooth at first, then some stewed, tart notes pounce in the back of the mouth. That brought out the "Ooh"! factor from us. We're new to Ripassos, but this seems nice. Tart and sour and less fruity, but still quite enjoyable.
