In 1989 Conundrum was born, started by Charlie Wagner's grandfather mixing wines & ended up with this unique, different and interesting white-wine blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Semillon & Muscat Canelli. Straw yellow with complex aromas from citrus to sweet. Palate showed tastes of sweet tropical fruit, ripe peaches, apricots and melons, with a touch of unusual spices, with an edge, very original. The finish is about medium and paired well with food. Nice! Consistent with last 3 vintages.

Medium to deep golden yellow. Thick nose with honeycomb and a touch of stone fruits. Low acidity (4.5/10) with a medium body. Rich a touch sweet on the palate with notes of citrus and tropical fruits. A bit sour and tart in the medium length finish. Very drinkable and doing insanely well for being 15 years old. Drink now.

Exotic fruit aromatics and a bit of sweetness lead to a thin, ponderous finish. Approximately 8 billion better wines at this price.

Typical Conundrum. Easy to drink. Sweet and tart play off each other.

A little sweeter, but not quite a Riesling. Really like it!

It starts out okay, but the longer you drink, the more bitter it becomes.

No hyperbole...this was one of the most unexpected and interesting whites I’ve ever had. Almost two distinct wines in one. What a deal! :)
Starts tarty with a sense of grapefruit then takes an immediate left turn to something entirely else. My wife said “I want to hate it, but I don’t” and I tend to agree. Give it a whirl!
